Visit Cracker Box Palace Farm Animal Refuge at historic Alasa Farms on Shaker Road in Sodus. Seasonal farm activities, from apple picking to sheep-shearing, on the site of a former nineteenth-century Shaker community.
Meet the United States Coast Guard and Dept of Environmental Conservation Officers. Learn about boater safety, and protecting our wildlife.
Visit the Lighthouse at Sodus Bay Maritime Museum. Built in 1870, this lighthouse is now a maritime museum with ship models, dioramas, and other memorabilia reminiscent of life on Lake Ontario. (FREE)
Drop by the Sodus Point Fire Dept, learn about fire safety, take a ride on the fire engines
Take a canoe and a kayak ride, (complements of the lodge) around the beautiful Sodus Bay
Hunt for fossils-learn how to track deer, coyote--identify animal and bird tracks
Take a train ride thru the Finger Lakes, witnessing some of the most beautiful scenery and the changing of the leaves

Sample itinerary:

FRI PM: Night check in followed by the colossal pizza party.
SAT AM: Start your day with a great breakfast at the Sodus Point Lodge followed by your AM scout meeting and a review of your itinerary for the day then off to your great adventure.
SAT PM: Have dinner at one of the great restaurants followed by relax time, play games, watch tv, use the lodge computer and WI-FI services.
SUN AM: Hot breakfast joined with some final words in review of a great weekend.
